This week, our Little Stinkers moved into the My Senses portion of All About Me, exploring how they see, hear, smell, taste, and touch the world around them through hands on play and sensory exploration.
Friendly Foxes and Wolf Pups both spent the week on Feeling Me, talking through emotions, naming feelings, and practicing ways to express how they feel with words instead of actions. Teachers used books, role play, and calm conversation to help children build emotional vocabulary at their own pace.
It was a week rooted in the Den’s Real and Kindness values, giving children the tools to notice their own senses and feelings and to talk about both with the grown ups and friends around them.
