At The Corky Child Care Garden, we believe childhood should be nurtured with warmth, connection, and intention. Our boutique programs offer families a fresh, heartfelt alternative to big-box, corporate childcare.
Rooted in Southern hospitality and a deep commitment to individualized care, The Corky Child Care Garden provides full-time, year-round programs for children ages 4 weeks to 6 years at our Meridianville, AL locations. Our Madison, AL location offers a half-day program for children 4 weeks to 4 years old.
Each Corky location is thoughtfully designed to feel like a second home — a safe, nurturing environment where little ones can learn, play, and blossom at their own pace. Owned and operated by Jessyca Creasy-Lopez, RN, The Corky Child Care Garden is grounded in a commitment to health, safety, and hands-on leadership. Jessyca is personally involved in the daily life of each center, ensuring every child and family feels seen, valued, and cared for.

At Corky, we hold ourselves to the highest standards — we use daily “hospital grade” equipment like the Halo fog machine, HEPA filters and UV HVAC systems, and spotless manual sanitation routines to name a few. Infant linens are refreshed daily, and all equipment is thoroughly sanitized between uses. Our commitment to cleanliness goes far beyond licensing standards —
because safety is love in action.
Meet Jessyca
Founder of The Corky Child Care Garden
Jessyca Creasy-Lopez is the heart behind The Corky Child Care Garden and a proud Registered Nurse with a passion for blending health, safety, and love into every corner of her schools. With a deep-rooted belief that child care should feel like a warm hug, Jessyca brings not only her medical background but also generations of child care wisdom to the table.
She hails from a family of early childhood educators — her mother, Brenda Creasy, has operated one of North Alabama’s most respected, licensed in-home programs since 1982, and her sister, Tammy Wright, worked right beside her since 2008. In a dream-come-true moment, Brenda and Tammy officially joined The Corky Family full-time at the end of 2024, merging their legacy of excellence into the Corky brand. Now serving as Regional Director and Executive Administrative Assistant, this powerhouse trio brings over 6.5 decades of hands-on child care experience to the programs — and it shows!
