The Corky Garden

Every child care center has a history, and ours on Blanda Dr. runs deeper than most. Back in the seventies, this building served South Huntsville as a child care center. One teacher fell in love with the space and made it her own, running the program herself for seventeen years.

Today that same building is becoming Corky South. Owner Jessyca Creasy-Lopez, RN, and our team are turning one large open room into five classrooms, each designed for a specific age group so every child has a space that fits how they learn and play.

The care lives in the small details. Fresh paint and new floors run throughout the building, and the air is clean and comfortable, held to the hospital-grade standard Jessyca brings from her years as a nurse. That same standard guided the wiring, which our team rebuilt from the ground up for safety. We are adding a reverse osmosis filtration system so the water our children and teachers drink is as clean as it can be.

Our kitchen was built from scratch to nourish little ones with real, wholesome food. We added extra bathrooms throughout the building to keep busy days running smoothly, and new cabinets are on their way into each classroom. Near the front door, a hospitality area with a warm drink waiting will greet every family the moment they arrive.

This is the foundation of the community we are building in South Huntsville, one classroom at a time. It takes a village, and we are proud to be part of yours.
