The Corky Garden

The Corky Violet is opening a second infant room. This is about far more than adding space. It is about giving even more babies a soft place to land during their very first year.

Our infant teachers build each day around the Frog Street curriculum. This fills the room with real talk, songs, and movement that support a baby’s growing brain. They also use Conscious Discipline. This approach helps our teachers meet big feelings with calm and connection instead of stress. Babies learn early that their feelings are safe here.

One of our infant teachers has been part of The Corky Violet family for more than two years. That kind of steady presence matters. Our infant rooms see very little staff turnover. The same trusted faces are there to greet your child every single day.

As babies grow into the infant twos, they start sitting at their own small tables. This is where independence begins. Simple activities like self feeding help build the fine motor skills and hand eye coordination your child will use for years to come.

Our babies never sit on the sidelines. They join every school community celebration right alongside the older classrooms. Each child’s own goals shape how their day unfolds.

A covered porch sits just steps from the classroom door. It gives our infants a safe, easy way to get outside twice a day. Families tell us this room never feels like handing their child to a stranger. It feels like a second home. Our teaching team becomes part of your child’s tribe during those first eighteen months.

One Corky Violet mom put it best: “Thanks for being a part of her tribe.”

Every day, families see at least three photos of their child through Brightwheel. Regular updates keep coming too. This keeps the trust between our teachers and our families strong.

The Corky Violet is proud to open this second room. We welcome more of our current families and new families who want their baby’s first year met with warmth, steady care, and attention. Reach out to us today to learn more about a spot in our infant program.
