The Corky Garden

There was a theme running through every room at the Magnolia. Our littlest learners spent the week getting to know themselves. That is the heart of FrogStreet’s All About Me unit, and it showed up a little differently in every classroom.

In Little Lillies and Lillies, teachers pointed to eyes, noses, and mouths in the mirror and in songs, giving our youngest infants and toddlers their first taste of self awareness. Buttercups moved into Awesome Me, using movement and simple body games to build confidence in what their bodies can do, and Azaleas carried that into Marvelous Me, connecting physical awareness to the bigger steps toward independence they will need before joining The Corky Magnolia Den.

For families who are still settling in after a tough experience somewhere else, weeks like this one are exactly why the Magnolia Main House is built to feel like a home away from home. Every update on the app, every song about noses and toes, is one more small sign that your child is known here.
