Mornings at The Corky Lily move slowly and gently, on purpose. Drop off begins at 7:30, the program unfolds from 7:45 to 11:45, and pickup wraps up by noon, a rhythm built to give babies and toddlers a soft, nurturing start to the day.
Freedom leads The Corky Lily as its director. She is a 4th generation early childcare provider watching her mother, grandmother and great grandmother build careers in early education, and she brings that same care into every classroom at the Lily.
The program draws from Reggio Emilia and Waldorf traditions. Children choose their own activities from natural materials, moving at their own pace and spending real time outside. The playground is spacious and a mix of turf, gardens, and beautiful pebbles, so children can run, climb, and explore safely every day in sensory friendly environments.
Because the Lily serves children from four weeks to four years old, teachers build the whole morning around emotional safety. They help each child feel secure, known, and connected before anything else. That foundation makes room for real learning and real joy.
The Corky Lily is not a drop in program. Families enroll for five mornings a week, Monday through Friday, on a calendar that runs from August through June, with July off, a rhythm that helps children build trust in their day and in their teachers from the very start.
