Childcare runs in Freedom’s family. Her grandmother and great grandmother worked in childcare. Her mother, Jessyca, built a career in early education and grew The Corky Childcare Collective into the company it is today. Now Freedom leads The Corky Lily, the location named after her, carrying that same work into a new generation.
Jessyca’s aunt has also been part of this journey, bringing her own years of experience to the family’s story. Together, this family has spent decades learning what young children and their families truly need.
That history shows up in the smallest moments at The Corky Lily. It shows up when a teacher recognizes a child’s cry before a parent explains it, and in the calm, practiced way our team welcomes a first day of childcare. Freedom grew up inside this work, learning it long before she ever led a classroom.
Families who walk through our doors are joining a story that started long before The Corky Lily opened. It is a story built on care passed down, tested, and proven across generations.
